World Climate Simulation for Families!

Date: Saturday, April 21st 

Time: 10am-12pm

Ages: 5th grade and above *

Fee: Free. Pre-registration required. Please check in at front desk upon arrival. Any members of party not registered (such as those too young to participate), will be need to pay general admission. Only registered participants can be present in the STEM classroom during the program. Registrants do also have complimentary access to the museum/general admission after the event, until 5pm. 

AMOS is looking for families with children in 5th grade and above to participate and provide feedback on a new activity at AMOS! The World Climate Simulation (WCS) by Climate Interactive is a role-play game of the UN climate change negotiations designed to build understanding of the interplay between global CO2 emissions and the temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere, and of the complexities involved in the negotiations to set global emission limits.Help AMOS determine if WCS is a good fit for families! Come try out this activity at no cost and learn more about climate change! 

*Children less than 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
