We are Western North Carolina’s home for experiential science learning, discovery, and exploration. Young learners ages 3-12 will especially enjoy our exhibits and programs that strive to spark the imagination, fuel a passion for discovery and experimentation, and foster lifelong curiosity.
AMOS has a plethora of science to intrigue the zeal of every learner!
*Please note that the museum will not open to the public until 12noon on January 18, January 26, and February 2.
*Please note that inclement weather or holidays may affect these hours. The museum is closed on New Year’s Day, Freedom Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The museum will close early (4PM) on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
